QS World University Rankings

The QS World University Rankings is a portfolio of comparative rankings of colleges and universities worldwide. It features 1,418 institutions across 100 locations. The rankings are based on a methodology that considers various factors, including academic reputation, employer reputation, research impact, and internationalization. The methodology is reviewed annually to ensure its relevance and accuracy.

Times Higher Education World University Rankings

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings, often referred to as the THE Rankings, is an annual university ranking publication by Times Higher Education magazine. It includes global university rankings, as well as subject- and reputation-based rankings. Additionally, it has introduced three regional tables for universities in Asia, Latin America, and BRICS/emerging economies, which are ranked using separate criteria and weightings.

For more guidance, visit each country’s official study portal and reach out to university admission offices for specific details.

Germany

Any student, regardless of nationality, can apply to study in Germany. Most university education in Germany is public, so there are usually no tuition costs except for special programs. Each state in Germany has its own office for credential evaluation, and each university has its own admissions procedures and requirements. Some programs are available in English.

For foreign students, the TestDaF or DSH German language exam is required. These exams are offered at universities at specified times, as well as in Frankfurt at the Goethe Institute.

High school graduates may qualify for entrance to German state universities using the IB Diploma, AP Examinations, SAT Examinations, or ACT Examinations. Details are listed below.
