New South Wales: UAC – Processes applications for admission to most undergraduate courses at participating institutions in NSW and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
Victoria: VTAC – Is responsible for processing applications to Victorian tertiary institutions. They handle applications for undergraduate courses and calculate the ATAR for Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) students.
Study Australia is a government site that enables you to search by both subject area and by course code across all of the Australian universities, higher education providers and further education providers within Australia.

For those wanting to study law, a good website to start with is the Council of Australian Law Deans site.
One of the best sites, with comprehensive and useful “sister” sites is the “i-student” site which has information on the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. It also allows you to make comparisons, research courses around the world, provides an excellent e-magazine and more.
Study in New Zealand and the New Zealand Universities sites are all good options for gaining a general overview. Really though there is no excuse for not researching each of the websites to find out what they offer! See also “i-student” sites mentioned above.
